WRICH VELVYT / ACCESSIBILITY

Access
statement.

A site full of film and motion has to stay usable without either. This is what the house has done about that, and what it has not yet checked.

EFFECTIVE October 21, 2026

01

What the house is aiming at

WRICH VELVYT aims to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

That is a target, not a verified result. No formal accessibility audit has been carried out on this site. The house would rather say so than claim a conformance level nobody has tested.

TO BE CONFIRMED — The date of a formal accessibility audit, once one has been commissioned.

What is in place

  • Motion can be switched off. The site honours your system reduced-motion setting. Page transitions, parallax, scroll reveals and the ambient animation all stop.
  • Nothing needs WebGL. The interactive world is presentation. Every object, every policy and the whole checkout remain reachable if 3D fails to load or is disabled.
  • The film is decorative. It carries no information that is not also written on the page, is muted, and has a still fallback.
  • Keyboard navigation works throughout. Focus is visible, dialogs return focus to the control that opened them, and no control is reachable only by pointer.
  • Status messages are announced. Adding to the bag, size selection, form errors and signup outcomes are all in live regions rather than silent visual changes.
  • Touch targets on coarse pointers are sized to the 44px guidance.
  • Images carry alternative text, and decorative imagery is marked as decorative so it is not read out.
  • Text contrast has been measured and corrected where it failed, including type set over photography.
03

Known limitations

Stated plainly, because a statement that lists no limitations has usually not been looked at:

  • No screen-reader testing has been performed with real assistive technology. Behaviour with VoiceOver, NVDA and JAWS is unverified.
  • The interactive world has not been assessed for vestibular triggers beyond honouring reduced motion.
  • No automated or manual audit has covered every page; the newer policy and error routes are the least examined.
  • Colour contrast has been checked at the points known to be at risk, not exhaustively across every state.

If something blocks you

If any part of this site stops you doing what you came to do, write to wrichvelvyt@gmail.com. Say what you were trying to do, what got in the way, and which browser or assistive technology you were using if you know it.

The house treats an access problem as a defect, not a request.

TO BE CONFIRMED — A target response time for accessibility reports.
